Updated Script
Hey guys, as you can see i have created a more current storyboard. The establishing shot is one of pure darkness, we have decided to open it this way because it starts of the film with darkness and 'nothingness', keeping the audience interested and intrigued with a clear scary narrative hook. Like they say 'no one likes the dark'. Hopefully we reach out to people's weakness and phobia, keeping them attached, a true convention of Horror movies. The next shot is one of the victim on the floor laying on the floor, battered and bruised (mis-en-scene), the audience result to asking questions such as, 'what has happened to this girl?', 'who has done this?' 'is she alive?', the slow and steady pan shot presents the whole figure of the girl laying helplessly, alone and uncomfortably  This is also shown through a low angle shot, meaning she inferior and weak, with no dominance-'is this because she is a female you might ask, or just badly hurt?' all these questions might be running through the viewers head and we hope to show answers through back flashes, which takes me onto my next shot. A flash back is shown here, transferring through time of the setting where it all began. A blurly vision is shown, maybe slightly foggy, taken during the day a over the shoulder shot of a man knocking at a door , we have purposely decided to confuse the audience at this point, but for them still to approve watching on.

Before we go onto the day time scene you can hear a huge 'bang noise' non-diagetic post production illustration, to jump the audience with white foggy atmosphere. Back to the day scene, we are shown a over the shoulder shot and a zoom into a slightly distinctive skull ring. This ring is significant as it attaches both parts of the clip together to form the opening story line, where it all concludes to make sense. A zoom is shown of a young male’s hand knocking on the door wearing the ring on his pinkie finger. this is followed by a point of view shot of the audience being me. At this point i am stirring spaghetti Bolognese in the comfort of my own home when i get a knock on the door. This is a new box of the story board; i place the camera in my hand with no tripod purposely for the shot to flow steadily and naturally for the audience to REALLY be me and in my shoes. The next story board image is of me and the male character shaking hands, with a zoom and yet again detailed concentration towards the skull ring. This is followed again by another blur being presented and we are taken into the night time and darkness. An establishing shot of an alleyway and a mysterious hooded individual walking down it, from here we have a birds eye shot (very unfamiliar and interesting) also extreme zooms of his feet to show he has come from somewhere but that also he or she is heading somewhere.....The rest is to be continued...
Thanks for reading hope you found that exiting!
