Initially, our target audience was mostly for 18 year olds but we’ve decided to range it from 18 year olds to 25 from all different social statuses. This is to have more people interested in our production and to 'tell a friend'. We went into our local shopping centre and surveyed people that we would think would be interested in watching our production and we transferred the results into a pie chart. After telling our ‘young trendies’ the story line of our work, we are glad to announce that 70% of our audience approved and thought that it was very definitely something they would watch on a Saturday night. One even said a humorous comment and said that ‘I would use my orange Wednesday and get myself down to staples corner cinema’, we were quite happy when they said that it had cinema potential. The ones that do not want to watch our film was purely because they do not like scary films and find the adrenaline rush bad, one public member also said ‘I like to sleep at night’. LOOOL I thought!

The ages we wanted defiantly started from eighteen as the films that are scariest from the horror genre usually will have a viewing age of eighteen. The max age for our audience will be around twenty-twenty, as the themes and situations in our production will be more suited to a younger generation rather than having people over thirty.
