Filming Of The Plot

This is a free hand clip that views and shows the setting of where most of the events are going to take place. By doing this clip i hope to achive showing everyone before hand how it all looks so that when we film during viewers casts etc can see the change and progress within. The kitchen as you saw is the base the young female is going to be laying unconsious or seemingly tortured. Imagine this part to be in black and white maybe i can create a clip and edit it making using black and white as i have been recently experimenting around with Premire Pro and you would like to show you what i have done so far. Back to the plot, the door is also important in the clip as this is the Establishing shot in the opening viewing, the door the killer opens to greet her victim (undercover) and also the door the suspect enters and we are wary of his distinctive tattoo as he places the key to open the hole, making the door a important factor within the clip. I thought simplicity is key as the last thing i want is to confuse the audience and for them to be mis-understood! I showed the living room as i thought it would be a interesting play with the camera to involve a mirror and this will make me progress my ability and force me to think about angle. But we came to the conclusion as a team that the mirror scene is not needed and will be too long, taking into consideration we only have 2 minute opening. If you picture all this happening in the night time i hope you can set yourself in a fright factor mood, when we start filming it will be dark to live up to convensions of most horror films.
